‘The Book of Boba Fett’ Reveals How the Mercenary Survived the Sarlacc Pit
It’s only a month until Star Wars‘ number one mercenary takes his rightful place at center stage in The Book of Boba Fett.
First up is something you can watch now. Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett explores the history of the iconic Star Wars character with interviews with George Lucas and other creators. Looks like a great way for new fans to catch up before Book of Boba Fett debuts.
The teasers reveal a lot of action, some new characters, more of Tatooine night life, and a lot of pretty visuals. It also looks like we’re finally going to get the full story behind Fett’s escape from the Sarlacc Pit!
“The Book of Boba Fett,” a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian,” finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”
The series stars Temuera Morrison at Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Shand. The team behind The Mandalorian is reuniting on this: Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson are the executive producers.
The Book of Boba Fett premieres on Disney+ on December 29th.
