Goatboy’s Warhammer 40K: LVO 2022 Space Goats (Wolves)
It’s a new year and here’s the new Space Goats list I’m bringing to LVO. Let’s bleat for the Emperor!
This list just needs to played because it needs to understand it an uphill struggle being a Goat on the tabletop. I haven’t had a chance to play a lot of test games yet because – people got busy, I got busy, and this whole virus got busy. Still I will play it and just – let the dice roll on the tabletop.
I initially thought about putting some shooting in but thought better of it when I really wanted to get to the nitty gritty of the list. It is going to assault and come at you. It will probably fail a lot of saves and my cavalry will die. It will do some dumb stuff because it has a lot of rerolls around the tabletop. Heck I might roll a lot of sixes and explode all over the enemy with a flurry of goat-y lightning claws and thunder hammers. I will also most likely lose at on of models very quickly and bemoan not being able to Kool-aid man thru a wall with my JuggerWolves of doom.
Anyway here is what I am working on having painted (10 more reg dudes to do).

LVO Space Goat Tactics
I could add another Warlord trait to this if I wanted to or figure out another cool Relic to get more damage options. It is all dependent on what I feel like doing but right now the only parts I need to paint are 5 Goat Wulfen of some sort. I got my hands on the actual models and just need to – Goat them up a bit. Will this work? Or god no as this is just an assault army trying to go as big as they can. It does ,however, have a ton of rerolls to charge and other fun stuff.
The Veterans can allow me to do some dumb – hero in front of a wall but guys behind it protect him nonsense to get some better charges. But they give me ways to do a few extra Secondaries as needed. That seems to always be the biggest case with extreme lists – finding ways to do the other missions. You can throw out all this assault but if you can’t score you just will never win.
There are no Goats on Fenris…
