Netflix is Adding a Ton of Korean Movies and Shows in 2022
With the runaway success of Squid Game, Netflix is picking up more Korean movies and shows. Lots of them.
Along with the announcement that Squid Game has gotten a second season (and maybe more), Netflix detailed some of the other Korean movies and shows they’re releasing this year. They range from horror and fantasy to crime dramas and romance. Here are some of the twenty-five that should be on your radar.

Tomorrow
Tomorrow is an afterlife fantasy drama. It follows the grim reapers who once escorted the dead. Now they want to save those who want to die. A long-time unemployed man accidentally bumps into grim reapers on a special mission. He becomes a contract worker on their Crisis Management Team to help.
A Model Family
A Model Family is a story about a man on the brink of bankruptcy and divorce – then he stumbles upon a car loaded with cash. The incident has him (and his family) crossing paths with the second-in-command of a drug organization.
Black Knight
In an air polluted world in 2071 people depend on respirator masks to breathe. Only one percent of the human race has survived. A strict social hierarchy has been established in the deserted lands of the Korean Peninsula. For refugees, becoming a delivery driver is their only hope for survival. The story tells the story of a legendary delivery driver with exceptional battle skills.
Glitch
Glitch tells the story of Hong Jihyo, who attempts to track down her missing boyfriend with the help of members of a UFO club. In the process, she comes face to face with a mysterious secret.
Money Heist: Korea– Joint Economic Area
This version of the popular Money Heist series is focused on a genius strategist and his talented crew, which is composed of top-class thieves. The story follows along as they attempt to pull off an unprecedented heist in the Korean Peninsula. The crew stages a robbery while facing inexplicable challenges. There are plenty of unexpected twists and turns.
