A new trailer for Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters reveals the teleporting hijinks of the Interceptor.
The Interceptor is one of many classes you’ll be able to play in Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate. The Interceptor blends teleportation and swords, two of the most powerful forces in the grim darkness of the distant future. As a result? You get a fast-moving, hard hitting, deep striking Grey Knight who can blink around the battlefield dispensing the Emperor’s justice.
Wait that might be bolt rounds. Is it Mercy? That might be promethium fire. Whatever quality the Emperor has that’s represented by swords, you get to dispense it. And liberally.
As you can see for yourself, the Interceptor is going to be all about melee. They’ll teleport around the map to strike at opportune targets cowering behind cover. And you can use your bolter even as a reaction to support your allies as they go. But also, this is a tantalizing look at the customization for Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters. You get to build your own squad of Grey Knights and outfit them with weapons and psychic powers as you see fit.
The Interceptor, and other classes, will doubtless add even more tactical wrinkles. In the coming weeks, we’ll probably see more class previews, so be on the lookout.
