Bruce Bears the Burden of the Wayne Name in Fan-Made ‘The Batman’ Trailer
The Batman final trailer gives new perspectives on the upcoming film’s plot, and more up-close Bruce and Selena moments.
This fan-made final trailer for Matt Reeves’ conspiracy-riddled take on the Caped Crusader has arrived. As of now, the film is on track to release in little more than a month.
The plot has promised to reveal some secrets about the Wayne family name. And The Batman final trailer reveals how adamantly Bruce is willing to sacrifice himself to undo the damage his family may have caused.
The fan-trailer creators at MovieTrailers Entertainment honestly had me fooled for a moment. It certainly captures the spirit of the upcoming film.
The Batman Final Trailer– New Voiceovers?
Like the previous Bat & the Cat trailer, there is plenty of Bruce and Selena in this story. What’s a bit of a mystery is how we get new voiceover moment from both characters.
Selena’s voice is heard warning that “it’s only gonna get worse”. There’s also the mischievously feline “let’s get into some trouble” line. And when is Selena not getting into trouble, really?
I was a little curious about another new line of hers– “C’mon, vengeance”. The inflection is hard to read. Is she criticizing the Batman’s new catchphrase? Or is she coyly rooting him on?

This The Batman final trailer also delivers a new look at a dark-eyed Bruce and his sentiments toward Gotham. “I don’t care what happens to me,” he says. And it plays into the “sins of the father, sacrifice of the son” themes we’ve seen in the trailers thus far.
In fact, this and previous trailers all tell us quite a bit about the film’s plot, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I’ve still no doubt the film’s reveals will thrill.
There are possibly even more hints in the background if you want to go looking for them. Reading the background for clues in a movie about the Riddler? Hmm…

The Batman Will Release on Schedule
As far as official Batman news, things are still on track. In an interview with Puck News, Warner Media CEO Jason Kilar confirmed that as of now, The Batman will premiere in March.
“We’re certainly paying attention to everything going on with Omicron. We feel good about the date right now. We’re gonna watch it day by day.”

Until then, we’ll all just have to wait. Mask up and keep COVID numbers down so The Batman and other movies can release on time.
Fan trailers like this one make the long wait a little easier to bear. Maybe we’ll listen to some American Hysteria episodes and solve some riddles in the meantime.
