Warhammer: 2022 ‘Sneak Peek’ Trailer Breakdown
Games Workshop released a teaser trailer for a BUNCH of the models coming this year. Let’s break this down.
On Sunday, GW put out a teaser trailer and we briefly covered some of the things we saw already. However, we’ve got back and painstakingly screenshotted everything we could make out in the trailer. Let’s dive in, shall we?
We’re going to go in reveal order so, if you’re watching along, these should follow what you see from the trailer.
This sure looks like a chaos plasma weapon — possibly on a knight. More on that below.
Could this one be a new Nighthaunt ghost model holding a lantern? I sure hope so! Does that mean a new Nighthaunt Battletome is on the way? Again, I sure hope so!
Aeldari figure in a dark cape…I wonder if this one is related to the ones below…
Chaos Knight Pipes. That’s the name of an all Bagpipe music cover band I think.
It’s a bird…on the shoulder of a giant model. Or a Chaos Knight model…
Mechano-tendril. More chaos…
This bit is interesting. At first I was hoping it could be a secret Ossiarch Bonereaper bit. However when you see what’s following it…
Nope, not OBR, looks like someone else who’s got a budding relationship with death.
And that SURE looks like a particular Phoenix Lord’s weapon. Interestingly, it’s also looks like the blade is more Tyranid-like that previously. I wonder if that has something to do with some of the other teasers…
Yeah…pretty sure we’ve got a Maugan Ra sighting.

No seriously, that’s a Drukhari Wych. And they are whipping it into shape. Whatever ‘it’ is.

And that’s a tail of the beast…
And that’s a wing! Uh man, is this a BIG beast or a little guy? WE don’t really need new Gargoyle models…the current ones are serviceable. That said…I wonder what this one could be.
It’s a power cable and someone with a fancy coat.
Perhaps some explorer type? Interesting clothes for sure.
And a book…with a creepy ghost hand turning the page.
Candles? That’s very Nighthaunt to me.
