Warhammer 40K: 5 Things We Want To See At The LVO Preview
Games Workshop is hosting a Warhammer Online Preview at The Las Vegas Open 2022. Here’s what we’re hoping to see.
In case you missed it, GW Announced they are hosting another preview show at LVO. Our man Clint already covered some of the things he was hoping to see for Age of Sigmar. I’m just hoping we get a TON of announcements about battletomes this year. A new Roadmap of releases would be great. But we’re not here to talk about AoS. What are we hoping to see for 40k? Let’s chat!
Aeldari, Aeldari, Aeldari!
We probably could have just populated this entire list with Aeldari news. From a new Codex, to new all the new models, to whatever other surprises GW has for them. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for them. Although we already got a pretty big clue.
Road Map of the Grimdark
I mentioned one above for AoS and the same is true for 40k. We really need one for this year especially. Things got all bunched up and out of whack in late 2021 (for obvious reasons). But it would be nice to know if GW has ironed out those kinks in the schedule. A little bit of mapping goes a long way.
Chaos News!
Chaos Space Marine Players are pretty long suffering. We haven’t gotten much news about the faction in a while. Sure, sure, they are getting some great new models in Eldritch Omens — that’s great. But where are the rules updates? Even the traitor legions need attention to stay relevant. They are kind of the big bad of 40k, right? I’m sure the other factions would argue…but who caused the Great Rift and has been driving the narrative of 40k forward?

Tyranid Lord of War
It’s unclear what this new model could be. It’s got a tail and wings. I’m hoping that it’s not just another flyer and that it’s more substantial than that. But really, at this point in the edition cycle, I’ll take any sort of Tyranid news. I hope it a new Lord of War. But, if I’m honest, it’s probably going to be a smaller winged unit.
Maybe flying Warriors? Or maybe something else entirely. We’ll have to wait to find out!
Something Completely Unexpected
I’m really hoping to see something that is just completely unexpected. Perhaps GW is saving some Preview News for later this year but I’m hoping that they managed to keep something under wraps for the big show tomorrow night. And I’m hoping that it’s going to be mind blowingly cool. Don’t get me wrong, I’m pumped about all the reveals and confirmations that we’re going to see already. But a real surprise would be awesome, too.
