Warhammer 40K: Even The T’au Devilfish Got A Rules Update
The trusty T’au transport got a tweak with some tasty new rules to toss on the tabletop! Meet the new and improved Devilfish.
Ah the Devilfish. Transports might not be the bee knees right now but they still have their uses. That’s where the Devilfish comes it. As the workhorse for the T’au Empire, it’s seen it’s fair share of use on the battlefields of the Grimdark. And as the T’au are getting a new update, they aren’t leaving old reliable behind.
Devilfish Rules Update
It might not be the flashiest vehicle in the T’au arsenal but this APC has some versatility. It doesn’t matter if you’re a “guns blazing” commander of the Mont’ka Tactical Philosophy or from the more defensive Kauyon school of thought — the Devilfish has you covered.
The T’au have also mastered the art of being able to disembark from a moving Devilfish. Or rather, in game terms, they can disembark after the Devilfish moved. It’s going to cost you a CP and there are some restrictions but man, oh man, is this worth spending the CP on.
That’s a combat move that will make a marine jealous.
Once the Devilfish has deployed its payload of troopers it’s job isn’t over either. It’s still got some good support options to provide fire and uh…support! For example, the On-Board Sensors stratagem can provide a nifty re-roll to hit bonus:
A vehicle that can provide an aura? Take that Machine Spirit!
It sure seems like the T’au are going to be able to do some fun things with their Devilfish. Get your Fire Warriors where they need to go and unleash volleys of damaging shots — all with the help of the trusty Devilfish APC!
The T’au codex is coming soon! Are you ready for the new goodies?
