Warhammer 40K: New Battlezone Fronteris Terrain Kits Are The Defensive Structures Of The Imperium
The Imperium has a batch of new Terrain kits coming with the Battlezone Fronteris set.
When you’re living in the Grimdark finding shelter from the dangers of the universe is an important thing. The good news is the Imperium is prepared to face those threats. Mostly. The new Battlezone Fronteris Set has a few neat building options in it that are going to spruce up your table.
“This battlezone is designed to give you a range of new terrain for your battles on frontier worlds or to add a little bit more militaristic utility to your existing gaming tables. It includes STC Hab-Bunkers, a Landing Pad, Vox-Antenna, Auspex Shrine, plus a selection of stockades, and will soon be available as a complete battlezone and in a variety of smaller kits.”
Highly Modular Battlezone Fronteris Terrain
This new set of terrain is super modular. You’ll be able to craft add your own flair to these buildings. They both “severe and functional” in Games Workshop’s own words. But that’s how you know they are of Imperial make!
New Rules, Too
It’s not just the plastic kit that are coming, either. The new terrain set also has some extra rules you can use to sprue up your games as well as your tabletop. Check these out:
“Campaigns set in Nachmund during the current Season of Warhammer 40,000 can benefit from terrain-specific Crusade Agendas found in Vigilus Alone. These include Transmit Signal, which gives your units extra experience points and adds to the ongoing narrative of the war for Vigilus as you transmit messages of hope and despair.”
These kits aren’t just for use in campaigns either. They also have rule you can use in matched play thanks to the core terrain rule traits. All your favorites like Light Cover, Scalable, Obscuring and more can be used with these kits.
And, if you’re interested, you can also use the terrain’s additional actions in games as well.
Battlezone Frontieris Terrain is coming soon to a tabletop near you!
