So what exactly will be in War Zone Nachmund: Vigilus Alone? Games Workshop is showing off the Table of Contents to answer that question!

War Zone Nachumund: Vigilus Alone is coming to 40k and it’s a bit of a game changer. It’s kicking off the new season of 40k with some additional rules for existing factions. But which ones need to pay close attention? Glad you asked because Games Workshop is dropping all the details of what’s in this book.

“As you can see, nearly half of Vigilus Alone is dedicated to delivering new background information and art, offering a full view of the ebb and flow of the war.”

Lore-junkies and art fanatics this book has loads for you! So don’t feel left out with this one. And as for rules…well, you know it’s packing in those, too.

Campaign Rules For War Zone Nachmund

First up we have rules for playing the campaign of this particular War Zone. As you can see, you’ll have 3 legendary missions to play out. Will you be able to change history or will the events unfold as they do in the story? There’s also some new curveballs to play around with as new War Zone Abilities, Master’s Edicts, and even new Crusade Relics are introduced.

New Army Rules

There’s also a bunch of new army rules to chew on! The Primaris Space Marines are finally getting some new rules because we all know how ignored that army is. The Captain in Gravis Amour and the updated Primaris Ancient are getting a datasheet so those models will no longer be “illegal” to use.

The Army of Renown: Vanguard Spearhead does look interesting. If you’re leaning towards running the “all Phobos, all the time” army for the Space Marines this does provide ample opportunities to tweak your army and up their combat effectiveness.

They aren’t the only ones getting some attention though. The Adeptas Sororitas are also getting some new rules with the Order of the Bloody Rose codex supplement. This is a pretty big update for that sub-faction and provides new ways to play.

Goin’ On Crusade

The last big section covers all the new Crusade Rules. This one introduces a ton of new rules for an Army of Faith Crusade. We also get some new Battlezone: Fronteris rules to toy around with as well. If you’re looking to start a new army and want a fun, thematic way to build it out, then check out the Crusade section for sure!

What are you most excited about for Vigilus Alone?
