Warhammer Next Week: Genestealer Cults And Adeptus Custodes Codexes Plus Jaghatai Khan
It’s a New Year and it’s kicking off with a bang and two brand new codexes! Check em out!
Alright folks, it’s 2022 now and there’s no time to waste. The ball is rolling already and it is made up of Genestealer Cultists and Adeptus Custodes Codexes as well as a new miniature for Jaghatai Khan. What a beautiful Katamari that is.
First up, the new Codexes. Genestealer Cults have been stepping up as the new hotness for villains over the past couple of years. And it’s not hard to see why. With psychic powers and xeno abilities AND mutations, AND empowering the poor people who struggle under the Imperium’s oppressive heel at the same time, it’s basically the Imperium’s perfect foe.
This new codex gives them even more tools with their Crossfire ability and “engaging new Crusade rules.”
Next up, the Adeptus Custodes, fresh from the fight on Holy Terra, where they have stamped out the Genestealer Cults, probably. Famously GSC infestations are easy to get rid of and have a habit of never cropping back up from even a single surviving member.
And in this new codex, you’ll find new stratagems, rules, and warlord traits as the Adeptus Custodes ride out into the galaxy on crusade again!
But let’s not forget that Jaghatai Khan is here with one of the best looking primarch minis we’ve seen in quite a while.
