Games Workshop Rumor Engine: ‘Daemon Tongue’
This one’s kind of hard to unsee once you see it. That’s the power of the Rumor Engine.
Well it’s Tuesday which means it’s time for another Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. This week’s picture from the future is, well, a chaos daemon thing…just take a look for yourself.
“The Rumour Engine is still full of energy after its recent week off, and it’s operating on full power – what has it sent back this week?”
So there ya go…it’s a weird looking daemon worm thing with the tongue sticking out. It reminds me of the little mini mouth from the Xenomorphs in the Aliens franchise. Only it’s a daemon instead of an alien. I suppose the next question is what’s this from. Then again, I think we can rule out everything that isn’t Chaos-related.
When you get right down to it, this one has to be something from one of the four flavors of Chaos, right?
It could also be related to something from the Chaos Space Marines or Chaos Knights — but even those typically have a patron daemon.
So taking a good look at this image, the question is which one of these daemons does it look most like?
