Hell Comes To The High Plains In ‘Deadlands’ Latest Kickstarter
A new Deadlands Kickstarter will bring a brand new sourcebook full of horrors, critters, and all sorts of monsters, to the weird west RPG.
Hell on the High Plains is a new setting/sourcebook for Deadlands, the weird west RPG currently enjoying a revitalization thanks to a batch of Kickstarters. The latest one builds on that momentum, funding in just 8 minutes to bring a monster-filled manual to the horror-west of Deadlands.
Hell on the High Plains – A Deadlands Kickstarter
Welcome to the newest setting and source book for Deadlands the Weird West, Hell on the High Plains! Besides this 192-page expedition into terror, we’re also making a new set of sturdy, die-cut DEADLANDS PAWNS, a CHASE DECK (modeled after our incredibly successful Pathfinder for Savage Worlds Chase Deck), 12 new ARCHETYPES, new COMBAT MAPS featuring a Prospector’s Camp and Boomtown, AND a sturdy new COLLECTOR’S BOX with magnetic lock you can use to store ALL your Deadlands Archetypes (and/or other cards) in!
So what’s the new book all about? Jump on the Denver-Pacific line and cross over the Durango Spur, the highest elevation line in the USA, but keep an eye out for strange goings-on. Or head into the Dakota Territory and make your fortune in Deadwood (or more likely your death in those hot-leaded streets). Perhaps the fresh air in Kansas will do you good—ignore the Blood Buzzards pickin’ at the other folks who thought to make the trip.
Maybe you can claim your stake in Montana, but don’t stray too close to the ghost rock mines that abound. It can’t be any worse than Nebraska, where tensions over cattle country are sure to boil over. Whatever you do, steer clear of Devils Tower in Wyoming. The less said about it the better.
And we haven’t even scratched the surface of the new Savage Tales, mini-campaign, foes, locations, items, and more you’ll discover inside Hell on the High Plains! Paired with our latest Archetype Card Set, and our second Pawns Box, the Weird West just got a whole lot bigger!
With a week left in their campaign, there’s still plenty of time to back. PEG has included plenty of options. So whether you want a poster map, a set of new cards, or new archetypes, there’s plenty to choose from.
