Come take a look at your favorite World Warrior as they appear in Magic: the Gathering. Guile, Blanka, Ryu, the gang’s all here.

The Secret Lair x Street Fighter crossover event is happening right now. Street Fighter and Magic, two franchises that you wouldn’t think would go together, mashed up for your enjoyment. Will Ryu be able to shoryuken at instant speed? Will Guile be able to spam sonic boom? Will anyone pick Dan? The answer to at least one of these questions is absolutely not. But let’s take a look at the Street Fighter characters as they appear in Magic: the Gathering, available now as part of the Street Fighter Secret Lait drop.

Secret Lair x Street Fighter $39.99

Here comes a new challenger! The legendary World Warriors of Street Fighter are ready to battle in Magic: The Gathering. Up the competition with cards for each of the eight playable characters featured in the original release of Street Fighter II. With these fighters in your deck or collection, Shadaloo doesn’t stand a chance.

First up, we’ve got Ryu, World Warrior. He can Hadoken after he makes an attack, which is pretty on point.

E. Honda, who first taught me the value of just spamming a single powerful attack, is in supreme form. He can give up to one hundred creatures a buff to their toughness (and their power, by extension), which is bonkers, combined with his sumo spirit ability.

Speaking of a rapidfire attack special move, Chun-Li, Countless Kicks is exactly what you’d expect. She kicks and it is simultaneously the most Street Fighter AND Magic thing ever.

Ken is there to shoryuken at Sorcery speed. So there’s a bit of value to having to be 2nd player.

Guile, whose theme goes with everything, doesn’t h ave thick eyebrows and googly eyes. He is, in fact, wearing sunglasses. He can also sonic boom and flash kick with the best of them.

Blanka really is a ferocious friend. He’s electric, he rolls, he gets more powerful the more spells you cast on him. And as he gets bigger he tramples. It’s too bad he won’t live to actually pull off an attack, but then again, who does?

Dhalsim has reach. Because of course he does. He doesn’t teleport or breathe fire, but he lets you draw cards on combat damage, and makes creatures with reach unblockable by high power creatures.

Finally there’s Zangief, who will spinning pile drive your opponents into oblivion. The dream is just spinning piledriver obliterating everything else on the board.

All this, available for pre-order now
