With her long and tragic history, Mystique is one of the most iconic characters in the X-Men franchise, and today we’re celebrating her classic Marvel comic looks via cosplay.

While the 2000s X-Men movies featured a stripped down Mystique, the comics version of her has taken many forms. From leather suits to match the X-Men aesthetic down to this gorgeous white gown, you know it’s mystique when you see her.
She can change into any shape, but there is none more iconic than her deep blue skin, crimson hair, and piercing yellow eyes. We’re here to celebrate her iconic comic dress, with the white boots and skull decorations. Who doesn’t love a belt made entirely from the skulls of your enemies? Right?
