Warhammer 40K: Codex Aeldari Review – FTN
Codex Aeldari is up for pre-order this week and it is SPICY. There is so much packed into this book – I’m excited.
Hey folks,
Please consider grabbing an FTN T-shirt to help us celebrate the show’s anniversary. The link can be found here. Proceeds will go to doing something nice for cast members of the show. The sticker is cool too and has been on my laptop for a year.
Codex Aeldari Review
Holy smokes… the Aeldari are going to make a huge splash in the meta. Folks who are worried about Custodes, Drukhari, Admech, or any of the other boogeymen out there need to add Codex Aeldari to the list. It is powerful.
With that said it seems fairly balanced point-wise. Generals will really need to choose what they include in their force and might get bogged down in a list full of good things and not really have a good list. There is so much depth and options in this book that is supported by the three factions represented and seemingly designed from the ground up to work together.
Each and every single one of the Craftworlds seems playable. We call out Biel-Tan in this show because I play it and we go on to expound that it is everyone’s favorite anyway, probably right? I mean.. that sounds right.
The hobby segment will be back next week.

FTN mostly focuses on Warhammer 40k, but you will see that in the first few episodes, we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record, and I hope they help pass the time for you. Please please please check out the new Forge The Narrative objective markers. These things look awesome. Ordering a set is a good way to support one of our sponsors AND the show. Find them here.
