Games Workshop sits down to interview Andy Serkis about his role in the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate video game.

If you caught the latest Chaos Gate Trailer then you probably saw Andy Serkis is playing a key role in the game.

Well, Games Workshop got a chance to sit down with Serkis and talk shop and it’s worth a listen.

“While your Grey Knights venture forth from their ship, the Baleful Edict, their activities are monitored by Grand Master Vardan Kai, voiced by legendary actor Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings, The Planet of the Apes). We caught up with Andy to discuss all things Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters, and how Vardan would be keeping hands-on with our Grey Knights.”

This interview has some great insights on how Serkis “got into the head” of his character Vardan Kai. It’s also cool to get his take on the Warhammer 40,000 universe as a whole. So far, the game is looking very cool. We got a chance to sit down with the Devs and will have more on that later. But for now, check out the interview and get pumped for this new dive into the 40k universe!

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate: Daemon Hunters is up for Pre-order today on the Steam and Epic Games stores.
