Warhammer 40K: The Next Balance Dataslate Is Out With FAQs
Games Workshop has released the next Balance Dataslate for Warhammer 40k. Come take a look at what’s new!
Can you believe it’s already been 3 months since the last Balance Dataslate? That means it’s time for another pass with the Balance Dataslate. What’s new and what’s changing – let’s find out!
“This edition of the Dataslate contains simple-to-understand updates to a handful of Drukhari outlier units in Warhammer 40,000, making for a better play experience for all. It’s much shorter than the last Dataslate – though no less vital. Most of the balance changes from the previous round remain, which is good news for Necrons, and the Leman Russ battle tank!”
The Next Balance Dataslate
Now that we have seen this twice we have a better idea on how it’s going to work. The Balance Dataslate is basically a document that is going to be updated quarterly. Then GW will publish the new version and it will replace the old one — kind of like an FAQ document. This version didn’t revert any of the old changes. It did remove the need to update the points (the Chapter Approved did that) so those were removed. But what was added was a pretty big change for the Drukhari:
Talos and Cronos no longer have the Core keyword. That’s going to sting a bit. And Artists of the Flesh Obsession also got a tweak, too.
New FAQS Out
There’s also a new crop of 40k FAQs out now. You can check them out here. We’re not going to list all the changes here because pretty much every army got something tweaked.
Those dates aren’t April 2, 2022. That’s February 4, 2022 folks.
So it’s a massive amount of little things that got a shake up today. So be sure to double check your armies FAQ and re-read the Balance Datasheet for those changes.
Sorry Drukhari players…I guess you’ll have to find a different way to go on a raiding party.
