Warhammer 40K: These Iconic Models Are Rotating Out Of Production
Games Workshop has announced a batch of models is rotating out of production from Warhammer 40,000.
Warhammer 40,000 has a LOT of models in the range. So many, that sometimes GW has to pause production on a few for a bit. These models aren’t going completely away — they may come back at a later date. However, we don’t know when so the next time they come back might be a LONG time. And there are some pretty iconic characters taking a vacation.
“At certain points, certain miniature kits are removed from circulation for a period, to return at a later date. The rotated models remain fully legal in all forms of play – narrative, matched, and open. We’ll always give you a heads-up before any models are rotated, so you’ll always have an opportunity to complete your collection.”
This first batch of models rotating out are some Space Marine Special Characters. They are going away for a while starting on the 27th of February. So if you want any of these models for your collection you might want to get them now.
- Darnath Lysander
- Brother Corbulo
- Flesh Tearers Shoulder Pads
- Captain Tycho
- Blood Angels Captain in Terminator Armor
- Dark Angels Company Master
- Chaplain Cassius
- Sergeant Telion
- Sergeant Chronus
- Captain Sicarius
- Tyranic War Veterans
- Khan on Bike
- Brother-Captain Stern
- Rune Priest in Terminator Armor
- Lukas The Trickster
- Grey Hunter with Wolf Standard
- Watch Captain Artemis
- Gabriel Seth
- Pedro Kantor
Yeah…that’s a lot of iconic characters. They might not get much play time these days with all those pesky Primaris Marines running around but that’s a list of some big names. From the looks of things, GW is also targeting kits that were still being produced in Finecast. Here’s hoping they get updated to (primaris) plastic kits. Except for Gabriel Seth…he’s not a Primaris fan.
Again, you can still score these models until February 27, 2022. So if you want them…get them SOON.
I didn’t vote for Pedro (to get pulled).
