It’s time for a celebration of all things Black Library next week, and in addition to beautiful books and tantalizing tomes, you can get some swanky miniatures as well.

Next week is the Black Library Celebration, as is tradition. And that means it’s time to celebrate the millions of words that Black Library authors have written over the decades, including but not limited to: heresy, traitor, bolt gun, Waaagh!, Emperor, Imperium, Exterminatus, and then some.

And kicking off the whole thing are two brand new miniatures!

Firat up, Fafnir Rann.

With such a great beard, Fafnir Rann looks like he could be a son of Russ, but he’s actually one of the stoic Imperial Fists. He’s as unstoppable on the attack as he is unyielding in defence, and his twin axes – the Hunter and the Headsman – will slice through any traitors foolish enough to get close.

Then we have Dominion Zephon, who is kind of sort of the Isambard Kingdom Brunel of 40K.

Dominion Zephon had his Great Crusade cut short when he suffered terrible injuries at the hands of xenos warriors. No less a tech-adept than Arkhan Land – the (re)discoverer of the Land Raider and Land Speeder – created his new bionics and got him back in the fight. His jump pack lets him zip around the battlefield to bring his volkite serpenta pistols to wherever they can do the most damage.

But this is also a tone to get some truly ludicrous 40K and 30K novels as well. Just check out the latest in the 31st Millennium:

This tome sees the legendary warrior Sigismund talking with a Remembrancer about his experiences of reclaiming the galaxy and musing on whether the end of the Great Crusade means the end of war for Humanity.

This edition is strictly limited to 2,500 copies and is signed by the author, John French. It comes with a soft-touch cover, black gilt page edges, and a ribbon bookmark.

Of course, what has many fans excited is the return of an old classic by Dan Abnett himself, Xenos.

It’s been 20 years since the release of Dan Abnett’s classic novel, Eisenhorn: Xenos, in which the eponymous inquisitor is drawn into a mysterious conspiracy and faces a vast interstellar cabal. This stunning 20th-anniversary hardback features 15 brand-new colour illustrations, as well as author annotations and a new afterword.

Finally, take a look at this incredible map of the Lion’s Gate, exclusively available during the Celebration.

You can also plan out your next angles of attack in the Siege of Terra with the detailed map of the Lion’s Gate, as featured in the novel Saturnine. Will you spot something that the traitors missed? This stunning map is printed on cotton with a faux leather wrap and engraved metallic disc.

All this, at the celebration. But wait there’s more. Next week on Warhammer+, the premiere of the Exodite. How will the T’au fare? Find out next week!
