There’s no shortage of weapons in the Grey Knights’ toolkits. But in their hands, literally anything can be a deadly bane to Chaos.

One of the best things about the upcoming Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters game is how you can build out your squad of Grey Knights to be the way you want them to be. There’s a lot you can do. You can outfit your squad with Nemesis Force Weapons to go all in on melee.

You can pick up some pretty deadly firepower to rain down death from a distance.

But in the latest weapons showcase, we get a glimpse of what will probably be my favorite playstyle, using random BS to defeat Chaos. Only in Daemonhunters that’s called using “Specialist Weapons.”

Chaos Gate Daemonhunters Specialist Weapons

What are specialist weapons? Well in a nutshell they’re the bits you put on your specialist models that might come in handy on occasion. But you don’t build your whole stratagem around them, typically. Except now you can. Because Chaos Gate Daemonhunter will let you outfit a squad with specialist tools.

You could wield a Crozius Arcanum to inflict powerful debuffs on your enemies (or just beat people with it). Or you could use the Nemesis Warding Stave to activate a special aegis shield.

Want to heal your allies? You need a Narthecium–which is also a deadly melee weapon. Because what doesn’t kill you will kill your enemy. Take a look at Chaos Gate Daemonhunter’s specialist weapons in action below:

Now to figure out what the most reckless possible squad build is.

How will you kit out your Grey Knights?
