D&D BREAKING: Journeys Through The Radiant Citadel – A New Anthology Of Planar Adventures
Hot off the internet, Wizards of the Coast announced a new adventure anthology earlier this morning: Journeys through the Radiant Citadel.
The mysterious new book is announced at last. Wizards of the Coast revealed Journeys through the Radiant Citadel, a new adventure anthology collecting 13 different adventures that take place across multiple planes. What is the “Radiant Citadel” you might be wondering?
Well according to Wizards of the Coast, the Radiant Citadel is a massive planar city. Situated deep within the mists of the Ethereal Plane, the Radiant Citadel is home to travelers from throughout the multiverse. It’s a lot like another multiplanar hub, only it’s not ruled by an enigmatic Lady of Pain. At least not yet. The Radiant Citadel is also the heart of each adventure.
As WotC mentioned, you’ll get 13 different adventures in the book. Each adventure takes players across the multiverse. But what really makes them stand out is the team behind it. Headed up by Ajit George, the designer responsible for Kalakeri in Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft. Kalakeri, if you’re unfamiliar, is the Indian-folklore-inspired Domain of Dread.
But, as Polygon revealed, the team behind this book are all writers and creators of color. These 13 adventures present a diverse array of themes that showcase the sheer variety possible with Dungeons & Dragons. Let’s take a look.
