First ‘Bullet Train’ Trailer Shows Brad Pitt Taking on a Cadre of Assassins
The first Bullet Train trailer has dropped. Brad Pitt fighting assassins on a train isn’t something I knew I wanted – until now.
The movie is based on Maria Beetle, a novel by Kōtarō Isaka. A trained killer who is on his way out gets pulled back in by his handler for one more job. He has to obtain briefcase on a bullet train heading from Tokyo to Morioka that has very few stops along the way. Once he’s on board he discovers this mission is more complicated and there are other competing assassins on the trip with him.
Check out the first Bullet Train trailer…
It’s got a John Wick vibe (any hard-hitting, close combat movie is going to have that now) with some Kill Bill and Ocean’s 11 mixed in. It’s violent but fun and colorful. The characters are outlandish and goofy while still being effective. The constant hallway fight of the train is hopefully going to make them get creative with choreography.
As an action junkie, I’m looking forward to this one.
