Dr. Arthur Harrow uses Dark Dimension magic in this new Moon Knight clip. He just became a much bigger threat.

Ethan Hawke’s character in Moon Knight is a bit of a mystery. It has definite connections to the comics, but not enough to suss out who he is. The actor revealed a bit about his character with Deadline.

“So now as the antagonist, I can’t be crazy because the hero’s crazy. So I have to kind of find a sane lunatic or a sane malevolent force. “That’s really interesting for the villain because am I even being seen as I am? And it’s also… I think that was our riddle, and we came up with somebody who was trying to save the world. And in his mind, he’s Saint Harrow, you know? I mean, he thinks he’s gonna be part of the great solution.”

Check out what he’s capable in this Moon Knight clip.

The more I see of Ethan Hawke, the less I’m sure if his character has one direct connection to the comics. He seems to be more of a mix of several. He has a cult and he can open portals to other realms/times. He’s got purple magic, which is Dark Dimension magic (the last time we saw it used in a Marvel show was by Agatha and it was used by Kaecilius). I’m very curious to see what Arthur Harrow is really about and if he has connections to other MCU ideas/characters.

The second spot focuses more on Steven Grant/Marc Spector. The teaser has a voice over from Arthur Harrow telling Marc/Steven to embrace the personalities inside him – in a way that makes me think he’s a key to something Harrow wants to do.

Moon Knight – Synopsis & Cast

Moon Knight follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
