‘Moon Knight’ Inside Look Reveals More of the Hero’s Transformation
A new Moon Knight inside look shows a massive Egyptian temple and some insight into the story being told.
The behind the scenes look focuses on the question of identity with interviews with the actors and director. Lead actor Oscar Isaac makes it clear they’re taking the mental health aspect of this story “very seriously,” which is nice to hear. Dissociative Identity Disorder affects real people out in the world. The last thing we need is a popular show treating it as a joke (as has been done in the past).
Check out what the cast and crew have to say about the show in this Moon Knight inside look.
Beyond the background info – that transformation at the start is incredible and the glimpses at Egypt are fantastic. That temple!
I’m wavering on my theory that Ethan Hawke’s Dr. Arthur Harrow is just a renamed Sun King. The more they show, the more it’s clear that the character may not be so straightforward.
Dr. Arthur Harrow (who specialized in pain theory) showed up in one comic – 1985’s Fists of Khonshu #2. I’m now wondering if this is going to be a mash-up of the two – or more. There’s still Marc’s mercenary past to deal with. Hawke’s character might contain elements from that part of his story, too.
We have a little over two weeks till we find out.
