‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ Final Trailer Brings the Jokes
One last look at Sonic the Hedgehog 2 before the fast-moving hero is back next month!
The next chapter in the story brings Tails to the screen to battle Dr. Robotnik and Knuckles (who wants to make sure you know he’s an echidna) for the safety of Earth. This looks bigger and badder than the first movie. Check out the final trailer…
Not only are fans getting a ton of easter eggs from the games, they’re getting a lot of action and lots of dad jokes. This looks like a great way to start spring – fun, fast, and no where near grimdark.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Details
“The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.”
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 stars James Marsden, Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, and Jim Carrey returning. They are joined by new additions Shemar Moore, Idris Elba as the voice of Knuckles, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey as the voice of Tails.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 hits theaters on April 8, 2022.
