‘The Pentaverate’ – Mike Myers Takes On Conspiracies in New Netflix Comedy
Mike Myers tackles conspiracy theories and plays eight roles in Netflix’s The Pentaverate.
The Pentaverate was formed by five men that discovered that fleas caused the Black Plague. Their discovery could have saved millions but was deemed heresy by the Holy Church. They were discredited and called heretics. The founding members took the organization underground, where it aimed to influence humanity from the shadows.
Canadian journalist Ken Scarborough (played by Mike Myers) will chase any conspiracy put in front of him, which leads him down the rabbit hole to find the secret organization operating in modern times. He meets many different characters during his journey, all played by the same actor.

The Pentaverate Details
It may not be obvious, but it is also a spin-off. So I Married an Axe Murderer fans will recognize the Pentaverate name – Stuart Mackenzie (played by Mike Myers) talked about them.
What if a secret society of five men has been working to influence world events for the greater good since the Black Plague of 1347? One unlikely Canadian journalist finds himself embroiled in a mission to uncover the truth and just possibly save the world himself. Remember, the Pentaverate must never be exposed!
Mike Meyers doesn’t make up the entire cast. The cast also includes Debi Mazar, Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jennifer Saunders. Jeremy Irons narrates the six-episode series.
