In the third and final entry to our three-part Developer Diary series, Complex Games’ Creative Director Noah Decter-Jackson, Lead Designer Peter Schnabl and Chief Technology Officer Adrian Cheater introduce us to the Baleful Edict’s crew and ship systems, along with the roster of characters, you will lead in the fight against Nurgle and his minions.
Here we get a look at the ship that serves as your main hub in the game. From here, you’ll level up your squad, select gear, and set course for your missions. With a crew of NPCs, including a tech priest, the Inquisitor, and a Veteran Purifier who will help you hone your squad’s psychic powers.
Actually, you’ll do a lot of upgrading in this game. Including to your ship’s systems.
