Warhammer 40K Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters Showcases Ranged And Psychic Firepower
Two new trailers show off the awesome weaponry awaiting you in Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters. Bolters and psucannons and powers!
If you’ve seen anything about Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, you know that you’ll be taking charge of a squad of grey knights on crusade. Taking these most special and elite Marines on crusade is no easy task. You’ll have to outfit your squad with the right kind of classes and gear in order to succeed.
And as you’ll be up against the daemonic forces of Nurgle, there’s a lot to overcome. Including an ever-changing plague that mutates daemons, making them tougher, stronger, grosser. Not faster though. So there’s that, at least.
At any rate, two new trailers show off some of the devastating weaponry in your arsenal. First, a look at the ranged weapons that await you:
Storm Bolters give you a barrage of long range firepower that can also give you overwatch fire. While Incenerators give you a flamethrower that can burn areas, set up terrain denial, and more.
Then there are the psychic weapons. The psilencer, which is a massive rotary cannon that shoots your enemies right in the soul. This one also functions as a support weapon too, allowing you to remove defense and negate bonuses. While the psicannon is a much heavier, damaging weapon.
