Warhammer 40K: Kill Team – New Balance Dataslate Out Now
Games Workshop has issued a new Balance Dataslate for Kill Team. Check out the new updates to see what’s changed.
With the arrival of Kill Team: Nachmund around the corner GW is prepping the community for some changes ahead. There’s a new Balance Dataslate out for Kill Team with some tweaks to existing armies — Space Marines are going to want to see this!
“The new Balance Dataslate for Kill Team rounds up a selection of rules updates designed to keep your games fair, fun, and closely contested, and gathers them in a single easy-to-use download. There’s especially good news contained within for the Space Marines, the Death Guard, and the Craftworld Aeldari, who will all be able to bring extra bodies to the killzone.”

As you can see from the document above there aren’t a ton of changes but there are some big impacts. Space Marines, Grey Knights, Aeldari Craftworlds, and Death Guard can each take one more warrior operative (with exceptions). Necron Flayed Ones got some extra bite to their claws.
The T’au got the most text in terms of changes as well. There are also some more changes to older army lists which have been replaced. Notably the one rule that impacts all your games is the change to the Core Rules:
This new rule limits the number of activations to no more than two in the same Turning Point before your opponent has had a chance to activate an operative or perform Overwatch. That last part is important. Performing Overwatch does allow your opponent the chance to activate more than two operatives in the same Turning Point. Now, those cases are going to be rare but they do exist. So just be aware of the new limits before you get overwhelmed.
Kill Team: Nachmund is coming to pre-order this weekend!
