Age of Sigmar: Our 5 Favorite Chariots From The Mortal Realms
Age of Sigmar has some pretty crazy looking chariots. These 5 are our favorite ones from the Mortal Realms.
Chariots were a game changer when they were first introduced in the real world back in antiquity. In many ways they were like the first “tanks” of the battlefield. Warhammer: Age of Sigmar still uses chariots and Games Workshop has come up with some pretty crazy ones over the years.
These 5 chariots are our favorite models in that class. Let’s take a look.
Gnoblar Scraplauncher
The Gnoblars of the Ogor Mawtribes don’t get enough attention in my opinion. Sure, they are basically the Grots of the Ogors but they still have that same goblin ingenuity that’s fun to play around with. The Scraplauncher is evidence of that. I mean…just look at it! that’s a fun model and that’s why it’s on our list.
Black Coach
Is the Black Coach a chariot? Eh…close enough. This ghastly apparatus is pulled by spectral steeds and it’s another really cool model. When it was released it replaced the old Black Coach and was quite the Glow Up. It’s a great kit and a fantastic “chariot” as well!
Glutos Orscollion, Lord of Gluttony
This chariot is marble and it’s pulled by daemon spawn. Again, it kind of falls into that weird “is a chariot” category — but we think it fits! It’s just a really fancy chariot. It’s also dripping with details and character. There’s a LOT going on with this kit and if you’ve never seen one in the wild take some time when you do. With all the things to unpack here it’s a wonder to behold. That’s why it’s on our list.
Stormstrike Chariot
This one really is just a classic chariot. The key difference is that it’s being pulled by Gryph-chargers. We do like our Gryph-creatures around here and think this kit is just classic and cool.
Exalted Seeker Chariot of Slaanesh
This chariot just takes the Seeker Chariot and goes “that’s cool…but what if we went a little extra with it?” Sometimes called the lawnmower of doom this kit is pretty bonkers. In any case we like the over-the-top nature of it and the kit is a sight to behold for sure.
Those are our 5 favorite chariots — what are you favorite ones?
