Amazing Deal on ‘Blood & Steel’ Two-Player Starter Bundles
It’s a great time to jump into this historical game from Firelock games – Blood & Steel bundles are at a sweet price point right now!
Based out of the USA, the folks at Firelock Games have been busy!!! Their latest new releases are two different Blood & Steel Pre-Order bundles at just under $100 American each. That’s right, you can get in on the game in one of two different settings for $99. Not bad at all for a two-player starter set!
Now, I’ve already talked a little bit about Blood & Steel on Bell of Lost Souls. What I did not know at the time was the price or value of the starter bundles. You can get this game bundled to represent either the Zulu War or the American Civil War. I know between the two, my preference would be the American Civil War, so I will be focusing more on that.
$99 Two-Player Bundles
In the American Civil War bundle, you get the rules and two boxes of Perry Miniatures. Between the two boxes, you will be getting 82 miniatures and all that puts you back is just $99. Now, let’s take a look at the value of those contents.
- $34 for a box of Union Soldiers
- $34 for a box of Confederate Soldiers
- $45 for the Blood & Steel Rulebook
- Unknown Value for 70 MDF Bases
Add that all up, and you are getting more than $113 worth of stuff for $99. That’s not bad. Even at full price, this is pretty inexpensive to get in on. If you are interested, be sure to look at the Blood & Steel Section of the Firelock Games Webstore.
Union Army Miniatures
To get an idea of the minis by Perry Miniatures, let’s take a look at the pictures from one of the two box sets. Below I placed some pictures related to the above kits. I grabbed all of these off of the Firelock Games Website.
The Zulu Wars
If the British Army and Zulus are more up your alley, Firelock Games has a starter bundle for that too. Again, you get a ton of minis and a book for just $99. Like the American Civil War Starter set, you are looking at the same breakdown of value with a $45 ruleset and $34 boxes of miniatures. I do not know as much about the history surrounding the Zulu Wars, so I am just going to end it with Firelock Games has this available too.
Wrapping it up…
One of the things that drew me over to historical miniatures is its pricing. There are expensive games, but there are also plenty of more affordable options too. These two Blood & Steel Bundles definitely put the game into the affordable side of things. If you have been thinking about giving Wargame settings from 1837 to 1901 a try, this is worth a look for some Victorian Age Combat.
For more, check out the Blood & Steel Section of the Firelock Games Webstore or Firelock Games in general. On top of these two new starter sets, they have the beautiful Blood & Plunder Miniatures game as well as an affordable WW1 miniatures game and a couple of RPG games in development too.
Until next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!
