LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is now available on Nintendo Switch. If you’ve never played a LEGO game before, this is the time to start!
After many months of waiting, and some hiccups, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is finally available.
The game plays through all nine Star Wars Skywalker Saga films in classic LEGO video game style. If you’ve never played a LEGO game, you are missing out. They are unendingly hilarious and fun.
Most LEGO games offer a variety of different characters to play as. But, this game offers more than 300 playable characters! Players will also be able to take control of over 100 vehicles from across the Star Wars universe. Each character can be upgraded across many different character classes, including: Jedi, Hero, Dark Side, Villain, Scavenger, Scoundrel, Bounty Hunter, Astromech Droid, and Protocol Droid.
The game allows players to explore the story in any order. Players can choose which trilogy to start on and which follows next. Along the way, they will visit famous locales and travel between 23 different planets. The game lets players take control of X-Wings and others while battling Super Star Destroyers that can be boarded and explored.
Don’t let the cartoonish art style fool you. Combat is immersive. Players can string combo attacks together to form chains or block incoming assaults. New blaster mechanics let players take precision aiming, or utilize their lightsaber and Force skills.
