‘Arora: Age of Desolation’s Minis are Gigantic!
Arora: Age of Desolation offers some very exciting new mechanics, but also massive miniatures that will bring your game to life!
Arora: Age of Desolation is a new 5E campaign setting that is currently live on Kickstarter. It’s set in a world devastated by insane dragons and a cosmic infection. And you can bring a piece of this world into yours with the Torishivar, The Crimson Doom, gigantic miniature.
Since the dragons succumbed to the Shardscale infection, they have twisted the world to fit their mad desires. Now, the five realms of Arora are frigid tundras, lightning wracked deserts, nightmare filled forests, burning hellscapes, and putrid swamps.
In Arora: Age of Desolation, king amongst the dragons is Torishivar, the Crimson Doom. This massive mini stands over 12″ tall (30.4 cm) and has over 15″ (38.1 cm) a wingspan!

As part of their Kickstarter campaign, Ghostfire Gaming have also included some Dracokin miniatures.
The resin minis are all highly detailed and strike dramatic poses. I didn’t think it was possible to make a kobold look intimidating, but I can admit when I’m wrong.
Shardscale Infected Kobolds
Kobolds in the fiery realm of Mogsturma have developed fire traps and hurl grenades using a volatile liquid they call “bang stuff”. They relentlessly serve their dragon masters, acting as messengers and guard dogs.

The Shardscale Infected Draguars are the draconic versions of centaurs. With four draconic legs with a humanoid upper body. But nothing survives so easily in Arora: Age of Desolation. The Shardscale has completely taken over these draguars’s bodies.

But, for as infected as the Draguars have become, this Shardscale Infected Dragonborn spellcaster seems to be relishing in their infection.
New Mechanics in Arora: Age of Desolation
Arora: Age of Desolation is obviously offering some very impressive new minis that will bring your gameplay to the next level. But they also introduce some brand new mechanics, which totally innovate survival and exploration in Arora. Also, character creation has been completely overhauled. Now, new characters choose from over 80 traits to help define and shape their character. The advantage system has been greatly expanded upon. In Arora, players and GMs don’t simply choose the higher of the two d20 results. Instead, players and GMs can choose from a variety of special bonuses.
