D&D: Every ‘Spelljammer’ Ship Confirmed So Far
Okay we know that Spelljammer is confirmed. But which ones, specifically? Here’s every ship we’ve seen so far.
Spelljammer makes for an interesting setting. Because it’s not just the name of the setting, it’s also a ship. And in Spelljammer: Adventures in Space, the upcoming three-booklet campaign set, you’ll find plenty of Spelljammers. In other words, there are lots of Spelljammers in Spelljammer. Which ones? Well let’s take a look.
Every Spelljammer Confirmed in Spelljammer So Far
Let’s start with the big ones. These ships are spotted in the artwork. Which means we’re almost certain to get stats for them. D&D 5E leans heavily into “if it has a picture, it has stats somewhere.”
First up, the Nautiloid. These terrifying ships belong to Mind Flayers, who roam the depths of space looking for places to colonies and enthrall. One features heavily in Baldur’s Gate 3, but this one looks like it’s front and center in Spelljammer: Adventures in Space.
We actually get a look at two different ships here. There’s the most obvious one, the Squid Ship. These are built by humans and used by both humans and lizardfolk pretty extensively. A nice throwback to 2nd Edition days. 
But then from the deck in the foreground we most likely see a Space Galleon. Another common, human-built ship.
We also get a good glimpse of a Neogi Deathspider ship:
Which despite the name is still definitely a vessel. And on the cover of the adventure, Light of Xaryxis, we get a look at another old classic, the Man-o-War:
Here’s the 2nd Edition comparison, because those aren’t quite clearly ships:
But, notably, the name seems to have changed. A WizKids release outlining new “Ship Scale Figures” meant for space naval combat, calls them “Star Moths.”

Even More Spelljammers In Miniature Form

In another pack, the Flying Fish and Nightspider:
As well as a miniature version of the Nautiloid.
The Bombard is a ship that is also a gun. The Shrike is a swift, fast ship. Both of these are in a pack labeled “Welcome to Wildspace.”
Here we have three of the weirder ships, the Lamprey, Turtle Ship, and Scoripon. As well as a Giant Gelatinous Cube that has frozen solid in space.
Only one of these is a ship, and it’s the Tyrant Ship, which as you might guess is a ship for Beholders.
Finally a Hammerhead ship, a Wasp, and a Living Ship for all you nature lovers and/or Elves out there.
Will these have official stats? We don’t know for certain, but it certainly seems to be the case. With these ships getting miniatures, the odds are certainly good, so keep an eye out, and the next time you encounter a strange Spelljammer, consult your handy guide to know whether you’re facing friend or foe.
