Games Workshop Rumor Engine: ‘Bring The Hammer Down’
Games Workshop has a new Rumor Engine out there and it’s dropping a hammer on the future of releases!
It’s another Tuesday which means that it’s time for another Rumor Engine! This one is another that’s fairly obvious when you see it so let’s just jump in, shall we?
“Stone rumbles, haptics buzz, and the interface flickers to life. Our resident Votann awakes with another cryptic message from the distant future. Hark! It’s… an image.”
It’s a Hammer! Probably for making War. You could even say it’s a “Warhammer” of sorts. It probably costs 40k.
Anyway…I’m going to go out on a limb and guess it’s related to something that’s Imperial or Imperial Adjacent. Let’s be real: It’s gotta be from the Leagues of Votann, right?
I mean, even the Squats that are in Necromunda are pretty close to this as well:
I could easily see this being a part of either of their kits. Alternatively, it could be a new Thunder Hammer for a Primaris Space Marine.
Remember this guy? Tor Garadon. Imagine him with a Shield and Hammer. It could work! In either case this is a cool bit. It’s a little hard to gauge what size it is as well. If we had something else to compare it against it would be much easier to tell if it’s man-sized or perhaps dreadnought-sized. But hey, that’s the fun of the Rumor Engine!
