This month is bringing a wide variety of stories to the large and small screen – these are May’s new releases you should watch.

May’s New Releases – Streaming Originals

Clark – Netflix May 5th

Bill Skarsgård stars in the unbelievable story of Clark Olofsson, the controversial criminal who inspired the term “Stockholm syndrome.” The limited series is based on Olofsson’s autobiography – filled with both truths and lies.

 

Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Sustainable War – Netflix May 9th

The first season of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 takes place after a global financial crisis and the world is engulfed in an AI-driven war. It’s up to Section 9 to counter new forms of cyber threats. This is that season remade into a feature-length theatrical animation with new scenes and full re-color grading.

 

Operation Mincemeat – Netflix May 11th

This mission requires special materials.

Operation Mincemeat is set in 1943 as the Allies are determined to launch an all-out assault on Fortress Europe. But they face an impossible challenge – to protect a massive invasion force from entrenched German firepower and avert a potential massacre.

This anime is fromWIT STUDIO, the creators of Attack on Titan. The fateful meeting of a human and the vampire queen may change a world at war.

 

Chip n’ Dale – Disney+ May 20th

The Rescue Rangers are back once again to save their friend’s life. The mix animation styles and characters from across the Disney universe give it a bit of a Roger Rabbit feel. Hopefully its bad guy won’t terrify an entire generation of kids.

Prehistoric Planet – AppleTv+ May 23rd
