Baldur’s Gate battles on with a new wave of Magic: the Gathering spoilers. Today it’s dopplegangers, dark alleys, and demons. Oh my!

As the Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate draws ever closer, more and more cards get revealed. And today it’s all about dark dealings and dastardly demons. From Nalfeshnees to Doppelgangers and beyond, there’s a lot to take in.

Battle for Baldur’s Gate Spoilers – Dirty Demons Summoned Dirt Cheap

We start with a classic D&D Demon, or D&Demon. The Nalfeshnee is a wicked evil ape. This one is all about copying whatever you exile. This can kick off some pretty spicy combos with some of the other cards spoiled so far.

On the other end of the demon spectrum, we have the humble quasit. This one is all about causing problems. And in particular, this quasit will render creatures unable to block the more you do.

Not a demon, per se, but pretty horrific just the same. The brainstealer dragon is a mind-flayer/dragon hybrid. It doesn’t look completely like an Elder Brain Dragon, but I hate it all the same! Even so, you can exile cards from your opponents and then cast them yourself. Which is pretty cool.

Of course it isn’t all demons and dragons in this D&D set. Stick Together lets you gather your party while the rest of the board ventures forth. This is particularly good removal as you still get to keep up to four creatures and can plan for it.

Let’s get to the back-alley deals. Black Market Connections facilitates all sorts of illicit trades. Spend your life to get some cool things. 2 life for card draw, what is this, Hearthstone?

The Mocking Doppelganger, on the other hand, is about taking your opponent’s best creatures and making fun of them.

All of this leads to a spectacular showdown. Which is pretty great because you can double strike and overload.

If that leaves you feeling philosophical or anything, try the Grell Philosopher. Take over artifact abilities and use them for your own gain.

Finally there’s our adventurer. It delves through dungeons, gives you initiative, and will keep your party safe from other creatures.

All this in Baldur’s Gate!
