Obi-Wan Kenobi Trailer Breakdown
In this Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer, we see Ol’ Ben struggling with his want to train a young Luke. But, he’s also remembering how things turned out with his father. Meanwhile, the Sith are on his tail and Obi-Wan is being tracked and hunted from planet to planet. We know now that the series will follow Kenobi’s story prior to the events of A New Hope. And will presumably culminate with his decision to go into hiding on Tatooine, while keeping an eye on Luke.
We hear the empire has got every low-life and bounty hunter on Kenobi’s tail. But, unfortunately for Obi-Wan he’s being pursued by someone a little bit more dangerous than your typical low-life bounty hunter.
The trailer ends with the iconic breathing that sends a chill down all our spines. Of course, it was a sure bet that Vader would show up at some point in the series. But, it makes it no less intimidating seeing the way it’s presented here. We can only hope Vader will have a somewhat prominent role within the series, but only time will tell.
However, despite the various ups and down Star Wars has had over the years, Vader has always been a force of pure intimidation.
This Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer has got all of us very excited for the series to finally begin. The Obi-Wan Kenobi six part event will stream exclusively on Disney+ on May 27th.
