Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness $299

An Age of Darkness has descended upon the galaxy. Horus Lupercal, Warmaster of the Emperor’s armies, has turned against his gene-father and sent the Imperium spiralling into bloody civil war. Of the eighteen great Space Marine Legions, finest of all humanity’s soldiers, fully half have sided with the traitorous Warmaster, while the remainder stand staunchly loyal to the Emperor. It is a war of brother against brother, Space Marine against Space Marine, which has seen the might of the Imperium’s vast armies turned upon itself in a cataclysm of fire and blood.

In Warhammer: The Horus Heresy you will pit mighty armies of superhuman warriors against each other in apocalyptic tabletop battles. Choose your favoured Legion, from the knightly Dark Angels to the duplicitous Alpha Legion, build your own army from a range of spectacular Citadel and Forge World miniatures, and clash with fellow players in wargames of staggering tactical depth. The tale of the Horus Heresy is the bedrock of Warhammer 40,000’s rich history, and this boxed game is the perfect first step to joining the epic conflicts that reshaped the galaxy.

Deimos Pattern Rhino $47

The Rhino is the most widely used armoured personnel carrier in the Imperium. Based on ancient STC technology, the fundamental design is robust, reliable, and easy to maintain, with an adaptive power plant that can run off a wide variety of fuels, making it perfect for the wide-ranging armies of the Great Crusade – and the wars of the Horus Heresy. As such, the Rhino chassis serves as a basis for many other war machines, and these transports are produced in their thousands – several distinct patterns are in common use throughout the galaxy, with the heavily-armed Deimos being the most widespread amongst the Space Marine Legions.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Legion Rhino Transport, in the distinctive Deimos pattern. This efficient transport vehicle has the capacity to carry a 10-man squad of Legionaries across the battlefields of the 31st Millennium, with room for characters to join the unit. Protected from enemy fire by thick armour plating and its defensive smoke launchers, the Legion Rhino Transport is armed with twin-linked bolters, and can be further customised with a range of weapons and utility gear. This kit includes the components to add a pintle-mounted havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite), as well as a searchlight, a dozer blade, and a hunter-killer missile. It also offers a number of cosmetic options, such as towing hooks and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.

This model has no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint it in whichever colours they choose – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 42 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This kit comprises 102 plastic components, and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to make full use of this model.

Kratos Heavy Assault Tank $125

The Kratos Heavy Assault Tank is based on an Ancient Terran pattern fielded during the Unification of Old Earth, redesigned after the Emperor’s treaty with the Lords of Mars to serve as the spearhead of the Great Crusade, a line-breaker and foe hammer. This grinding battle tank is all but impervious to enemy fire, and its steady, inexorable advance provides an indomitable core to any assault by the Legiones Astartes, enforced by a barrage of overwhelming firepower.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Kratos Heavy Assault Tank, a nigh-impenetrable war machine bristling with heavy armaments. This impressive vehicle can be built with one of three powerful turret weapons – the versatile Kratos battlecannon, tank-busting melta blast-gun, or searing volkite cardanelle. It also sports a co-axial autocannon, a pair of hull-mounted guns – autocannons, heavy bolters, lascannons, or volkite calivers – and a separate pair of sponson weapons – heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins.

The kit also includes components to upgrade the Kratos Heavy Assault Tank with a pintle-mounted weapon – a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a dozer blade, a hunter-killer missile, and a number of cosmetic options, such as towing hooks and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.

This model has no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint it in whichever colours they choose – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 42 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This kit comprises 233 plastic components, and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to make full use of this model in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.

Heavy Weapons Upgrade Set – Missile Launchers and Heavy Bolters $42

Heavy Support Squads provide the Legiones Astartes with mobile, infantry-portable firepower sufficient to bring down hordes of enemy troops or smash armoured vehicles apart with withering hails of fire, combining devastating armaments with all the flexibility of a footsoldier. Heavy bolters are the largest bolt weapons available to infantry, unleashing a storm of shells that tear apart enemy formations, while missile launchers are prized for their versatility, offering a variety of explosive munitions suited to eliminating infantry, tanks, or aircraft.

This plastic upgrade kit can be used to equip Legionaries from the MKVI Tactical Squad set with powerful heavy weapons, suitable for use in a Legion Heavy Support Squad. The kit includes 10 heavy bolters and 10 missile launchers with arms suited to each weapon, allowing you to upgrade a full MKVI Tactical Squad set into two Heavy Support Squads of 10 models, or four units of five models. Also included are four augury scanners which can be carried alongside a heavy weapon, allowing each of your Heavy Support Squads to detect and eliminate enemy units.

This upgrade kit comprises 120 plastic components and is designed to be assembled with the MKVI Tactical Squad set, which is sold separately. These components are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to make full use of these upgrades.

Special Weapons Upgrade Set $42

Tactical Support Squads replace the utilitarian bolter of their comrades with more specialised weapons, enabling a Legiones Astartes strike force to act with even more versatility and engage a wider range of targets on its own terms. Each of the armaments used by Tactical Support Squads has its place – flamers are ideal for clearing bunkers, trenches, and urban zones, while rapid-firing rotor cannons see use against hordes of lightly-armoured foes. Meltaguns provide bursts of thermic energy for tank-busting, and volatile plasma guns can melt even heavily-armoured elites. Arcane volkite weapons – both the volkite caliver and lighter volkite charger – sear through targets with beams of thermal energy.

This plastic upgrade kit can be used to equip Legionaries from the MKVI Tactical Squad set with powerful special weapons, suitable for use in a Legion Tactical Support Squad. The kit includes 10 flamers, 10 plasma guns, 10 meltaguns, 10 rotor cannons, 10 volkite chargers, and 10 volkite calivers, allowing you to upgrade up to three full MKVI Tactical Squad sets into six Tactical Support Squads of 10 models, or 12 units of five models. The kit includes five slightly different designs for each type of special weapon, ensuring your Legionaries will remain distinct when massed on the battlefield.

This upgrade kit comprises 100 plastic components and is designed to be assembled with the MKVI Tactical Squad set, which is sold separately.

MKIV Tactical Squad $80

Tactical Squads are the mainstay of the Space Marine Legions, highly versatile infantry units that can attack or defend at will, assault heavily fortified positions, and take and hold strategic objectives – or simply slaughter the enemy – in almost any terrain or situation. All 18 Legions make heavy use of Tactical Squads in different ways – it is by the fighting power of thousands of superhuman warriors such as these, armed with deadly bolters and armoured for battle in the harshest of war zones, that the Imperium has beat a bloody path across the galaxy at the head of the Great Crusade.

Mark IV ‘Maximus Armour’ was designed to offer a fine balance of agility and durability, exploiting many of the advanced technologies recovered by the Great Crusade. Its comparatively lightweight design, armoured external cabling, and redesigned helm make it prized amongst the Legiones Astartes – in the Age of Darkness, the Mark IV is perhaps the most common pattern of power armour seen across the galaxy.

This multipart plastic kit builds 20 Space Marine Legionaries, which can be fielded in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy as a Legion Tactical Squad of 20 models, or two units of 10 models. Each of these Legionaries is armed with a Tigrus-pattern bolter and bolt pistol, and can also be outfitted with a variety of additional components including combat knives, grenades, and pouches, while up to two Legionaries can be outfitted with a back-mounted Legion vexilla. Accessories and alternate heads are included to build a Legion Tactical Sergeant for each of your squads – the kit offers a variety of extra weapon options for these unit leaders, including plasma pistols, chainswords, power swords, power fists, lightning claws, melta bombs, and combi-weapons with three configurations (flamer, melta, or plasma). These models have no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint them in whichever colours they choose – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 339 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This set comprises 344 plastic components, and is supplied with 20x Citadel 32mm Round Bases and a Legiones Astartes Infantry Transfer Sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to make full use of these models.

This kit also includes the components to equip Legionaries with up to two plasma guns, two melta guns, two flamers, two heavy bolters, and two missile launchers – note that these options are not valid for a Legion Tactical Squad as found in the Liber Astartes rulebooks, but can be used to create a Legion Veteran Squad, reinforce your Legion Tactical Support or Heavy Support Squads, or build Tactical Squads for games of Warhammer 40,000.

MKIII Tactical Squad $80

Tactical Squads are the mainstay of the Space Marine Legions, highly versatile infantry units that can attack or defend at will, assault heavily fortified positions, and take and hold strategic objectives – or simply slaughter the enemy – in almost any terrain or situation. All 18 Legions make heavy use of Tactical Squads in different ways – it is by the fighting power of thousands of superhuman warriors such as these, armed with deadly bolters and armoured for battle in the harshest of war zones, that the Imperium has beat a bloody path across the galaxy at the head of the Great Crusade.

Mark III ‘Iron Armour’ was originally developed for heavy assault in close quarters. Its thick frontal plating and reinforced construction makes it ideal for combat in ship-to-ship boarding actions, grinding siege operations, and cramped underground or urban fighting, where manoeuvrability and speed matter less than sheer durability. As such, many Legions display a marked preference for this pattern, even when newer iterations of power armour are available.

This multipart plastic kit builds 20 Space Marine Legionaries, which can be fielded in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy as a Legion Tactical Squad of 20 models, or two units of 10 models. Each of these Legionaries is armed with a Phobos-pattern bolter and bolt pistol, and can also be equipped with a chainsword for melee fighting, while up to two Legionaries can be outfitted with a back-mounted Legion vexilla. Accessories and alternate heads are included to build a Legion Tactical Sergeant for each of your squads – the kit offers a variety of extra weapon options for these unit leaders, including plasma pistols, power swords, power fists, and lightning claws. These models have no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint them in whichever colours they choose – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 339 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions, including 30 pauldron icons for each Legion.

This set comprises 324 plastic components, and is supplied with 20x Citadel 32mm Round Bases and a Legiones Astartes Infantry Transfer Sheet.

This kit also includes the components to equip Legionaries with up to two plasma guns, two melta guns, two heavy bolters, and two thunder hammers – note that these options are not valid for a Legion Tactical Squad as found in the Liber Astartes rulebooks, but can be used to create a Legion Veteran Squad, reinforce your Legion Tactical Support or Heavy Support Squads, or build Tactical Squads for games of Warhammer 40,000.
