MTG: June’s Secret Lair Superdrop Is Around The Corner, Here’s What We Know
Magic: the Gathering’s June Secret Lair Superdrop is around the corner. From Beadle & Grimm’s new dragons, to Tokyo lands, let’s take a peek.
It’s June and that means a new Secret Lair Superdrop is around the corner. And with it comes a batch of new MTG cards presented with gorgeous art and fun styles. If you know, you know. And if you don’t, you’ll know soon enough, because we’ve got a look at what awaits you on June 13th.
Sneak A Peek At June’s Secret Lair Superdrop
On June 13th the next Secret Lair Drop will be unveiled. We already know a little about what’s going to be in June’s Secret Lair Superdrop. Yesterday we got the barest hint of a tease from Beadle & Grimm’s about their seven new dragon cards and other fancy gifts, bundled into B&G’s Here Be Dragons.
We also know that the next series in the Zodiac lands, the Gemini Lands is up. Alongside those you can get the Aries, Taurus, Pisces, Aquarius, and Capricorn lands.
But in a preview from WotC we caught sight of Queen Marchesa illustrated by Peter Diamond:
Diamond is the artist behind Secret of the Kells and others. Leading us to believe that Diamond will have an Artist Series. WotC also mentioned Tokyo lands, which brings to mind the set of Ukiyo-e inspired lands for Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty
But we already have those. So it’ll be real interesting to find out what they turn out to be. Look for the answers June 13th!
See you on Monday
