A beta trailer at long last. Summon the Elector-Counts, Immortal Empires draws nigh for Total War: Warhammer 3.

The mode players have been waiting for from day one of Total War: Warhammer 3 draws even closer. And Creative Assembly knows exactly what the fans want. They want another Empire campaign. Which is why Karl Franz, front and center, memes his way through the greatest trailer yet.

In this trailer, we get to see some fantastic combinations and matchups. Undead pirates vs. Cathay. Nurgle and Skaven marching side by side on an incredibly unfortunate Bretonnian Castle. While the Empire works with unusual allies to fend off the Dark Elves. There’s just so much to be excited about. Of course, fans will have to wait.

After all, the beta has only just been announced. It won’t actually hit until later this year. As outlined in Creative Assembly’s roadmap:

Q3 could be anywhere from July to September. The likeliest release will be August, but there’s a fairly wide window here. And let’s also mention that this is a trailer for a beta. Creative Assembly has put together the biggest map possible–it’s everything from Warhammer 1-3. On top of that, the factions will all have to be worked in the new gameplay. But this first impression is going to be huge.

This is Creative Assembly’s opportunity to show their playerbase what they’ve been waiting for. And while it will be a beta, to reflect the ongoing nature of it, the DLC team at Creative Assembly has an incredible track record with support. We’re all excited to see how the game shapes up.

In the meantime, summon the elector-counts.
