The upcoming Horus Heresy Age of Darkness – Predator tank kit’s official GW video is out in the wild. Take a look at the new retro hotness!

The Horus Heresy: Age of Darkness continues to roll onward. Today we are taking a look at some still from what appears to be the GW video for the kit. These images are all over the place on a variety of social media groups and forums. Let’s take a look:

These screen caps are from Valrak over on YouTube.

Valrak says the following about the origin of the video:

“They uploaded it their Chinese YT channel by mistake…”

Here’s the Predator in all it’s many-weapon optioned glory:

Plastic Predator Thoughts

Right off the bat, we have a LOT of weapon options here, some ancient and old-school and others brand new.

The Main turret has options for:

  • Predator Cannon
  • Gravis Lascannon
  • Graviton Cannon
  • Volkite Macro Saker

The sponsons have options for:

  • Lascannon
  • Heavy bolter
  • Heavy flamer
  • Volkite culverin

Unseen in the images are the additional turret weapon options shown on the Age of HeresyPredator datasheets:

  • Flamestorm cannon
  • Executioner plasma destroyer
  • Heavy conversion beam cannon
  • Magna-melta cannon
  • Neutron blaster

No School like the Old School

Several of these exotic turret options have old Forge World kits already. It remains to be seen if GW is planning a full update with a single plastic kit that has a full NINE turret weapons on the sprue. We’ll have to wait and see.  In the meantime, note the comparison of some of these weapon options to the original Rogue Trader Predator weapon options. Note those “new” sponson heavy flamers date back to 1995. What is old is new again!
