Warhammer 40K BREAKING: Angron, Berzerkers & More Minis Spotted!
The potato camera has struck again! There’s an all new image of the next Primarch coming to 40K doing the rounds. HOLY MOLY!
Before we start in on this one, a word on what is going on. As we’ve mentioned before, the Warhamer 40K leaks and images flowing across the internet are only accelerating since the start of 2022. At this point, the intensity of them, combined with incredibly low quality, makes me think these may be an intentional guerrilla marketing campaign. Whatever is going on, it’s something we haven’t seen since the days of 7th Edition over 5 years ago. Ok, onto the image.
This image is doing the rounds all over the place, on social media platforms, and forums like B&C.
Hello Angron & Friends
First of all, this image is TERRI-BAD! As in, this image could not be naturally taken on any phone or camera made in the last 5 years. It’s incredibly low resolution, out of focus, and pixelated. That said – This is certainly an amazing (potato-camera) image. It looks like a spread of all new miniatures, from a variety of armies, along with of course – a new Daemon Primarch – Angron!

1. Angron
That is certainly Angron in the foreground. He’s got the World-Eaters logo on his pauldron, the Black Blade, the butcher’s Nails /dreadlock hairdo, and the wings. There’s no way it’s not him. Here are some other impressions and miniatures of Angron over the years. You decide:

2. Berzerkers
OMG, at long last our wait is over. New Berzerkers to replace the ancient dancing ones. I see a lot of swords in there along with chainaxes, and of course the bunny ears. About time!
3. New Guardsmen
I’m not sure exactly what we are looking at in the extreme foreground, but those are not the current Cadians. The backpacks look different. I think some of the leg stances are new, and I see at least one new head. We have recently seen some new blurry Astra Militarum guardsmen recently from WH-Community, and this could be another shot of whatever that kit is.
Hmmm, I wonder about those these guys…
4. New Astra Militarum Tank
Again we can’t see enough of this kit to tell what it is. But it’s NOT the back of a Russ, or Chimera chassis. We will have to wait and see how this one pans out.

5. Polearm Wielding Fanatics
Close, but no cigar.
You tell me what these are way in the background! At first glance they remind me of Sororitas Repentia, but they aren’t. Perhaps some new type of World Eaters Cultists? We will have to wait and see.
Thoughts
Overall, this is a big deal. After years, we see the next Primarch being added to the game. This entire picture looks to be a classic GW “money shot” mid-codex spread of the highlighted army overrunning some small band of hapless dupes. Every codex has one of these. I would expect that this spread is from the upcoming Codex World Eaters based on the units being highlighted.
There has been talk of Angron’s miniatures being on ice for over 2 years, with occasional descriptions of it showing up every few months. It looks like all of that has panned out.
