Warhammer 40K Meta Hotness: Morvenn Vahl
Morvenn Vahl was one of the best characters to come out in a long time. There was a reason they called her Guillman 2.0 and she continues to show how powerful she is.
When GW first previewed Morvenn Vahl we all knew she was going to be powerful. A suped up Paragon Warsuited character that can hang with her Sisters, throwing out Chapter Master abilities, and throw a heck of a haymaker as needed. She is one of the most powerful Imperium units we have in the game currently. She will continue to show up in all Sisters lists. Thankfully she isn’t Bloody Rose as she would probably be an insane murdering monster of mayhem.

- Walking around in a crazy suit of armor? – Check
- Throws out a lot of damage at range? – Check
- Can throw a massive punch as needed? – Check
- Has an amazing command ability to grant rerolls on hits and wounds? – Check
- Just gives people around her Reroll 1’s to hit and wound? – Check
- Has an awesome model? – Check
- Oh and has powerful savings versus damage and mortal wounds? – Check
She has so many abilities stacked on a model that is just insane when she first came out she was way too cheap. She is amazing and if you play Sisters you need to get one of these to show up in your army sheets.
Why is Morvenn Vahl good?
Did you read all the stuff above? This character does so many things for your army that it is insane to read all of it. It is nuts that she is a combined Chapter Master, Lieutenant, close combat monster, and can take a punch on top of it all. Armor of Contempt just amped her up even more too it is just rough to face her across the table top.

Jonathan Sleigh-Johnson played this to a win at the Summer is Coming GT in Södermanlands län, SE. Sisters appear to have come out strong with the changes and I expect to see a lot more Sisters players towards the top of tables in the coming weeks.

Closing Thoughts
Sisters are here to stay and they just got better with the new missions and rules. Abilities to control outcomes with Faith, powerful synergies with all their units, and just strong Secondary options means the Sisters are sitting towards the top of the armies. Be scared as these holy ladies are coming to knock some sense into you.
