Chaos has a pretty impressive pool of characters. They also have some of the most infamous champions around. These 5 characters represent our favorite champions of the chaos gods in 40k. Let’s dive on in!
Khârn the Betrayer
This Champion of Khorne also doesn’t care where the blood flows from or who’s skulls he’s collecting as long as he’s collecting skulls! He earned his nickname by slaughtering his own men who he viewed as cowards for not pushing forward to victory. I guess that’s why they took his flamer away.
Typhus
Typhus is the herald of Nurgle and the lord of flies. With his ability to call forth the Destroyer Hive and pour out a plague of insects on his foes he’s not exactly pleasant to face off against. We like him because he’s also not afraid to talk smack to his own Primarch. Hey, someone needs to speak truth to power!
Ahriman
Ahriman is a true master of sorcery and also happens to be one the most powerful psykers in the galaxy. So much so, that even his own Primarch respects his technique even if he doesn’t like his attitude. When they work together they are nigh unstoppable in terms of sorcery and psychic potential. However, it’s probably the fact they also don’t get along that we like like this chaos sorcerer supreme!
Lucius the Eternal
Ha! I bet you though we were going to go with the Tall Man. Nope, Lucius the Eternal is one of our favorite champions of chaos. Cursed/Blessed with the ability to possess who ever beat him last, Lucius never truly loses a duel. And you thought Tzeentch was the tricky one. Well it turns out Slaanesh can appreciate a good twist, too. He’s an amazing swordsmen in his own right so don’t underestimate him…in fact the only way to actually beat him is to not fight him. Or you might become him.
Abaddon
Look, you knew as soon as we mentioned 5 champions of Chaos that Abaddon was going to be on this list. The Warmaster and champion of Chaos Undivided, Abaddon takes the cake. Not to mention how much of a straight-up beat stick he is, he’s also packing various gifts of the Chaos Gods that make him one of the most feared people in the galaxy. Retcons aside, he’s been battling the Imperium for 10,000 years and hasn’t been put down yet! What’s not to like about Abaddon!?
