The Realm of Beasts opens up for skirmish battles with the pre-order release of Warcry: Heart of Ghur.

Skirmish combat deep in the heart of the Mortal Realms. From the festering fens of the Gnarlwood to the Ravening Ruin of Talaxis comes battle. And this time, it’s warbands. In Warcry: Heart of Ghur, two different warbands face off against each other.

They hope to claim the prizes at the heart of Ghur, and be it glory for a dark god, or the secrets of immortality. All of it lies in the heart of the realm of beasts.

Warcry: Heart of Ghur

Straight from the festering fens to the north of the Gnarlwood, the Rotmire Creed head to the Ravening Ruin of Talaxis to hunt for the ingredients for their elixir of immortality. The industrious Horns of Hashut, on the other hand, bring the flame and fury of their dark god to Ghur, looking to level its lush greenery to make way for their forge fires.

Heart of Ghur contains 20 finely detailed plastic miniatures, along with 18 pieces of new Gnarlwood-themed scenery, and a double-sided game board, as well as all the cards, tokens, dice, and accessories you need to play.

In Heart of Ghur these 20 minis comprise two new warbands. There’s the Rotmire Creed, who hope to find the secrets of immortality in the plague elixirs they brew and experiment with.

Or perhaps the Horns of Hashut might carve their empire out. With forge and flame they burn their way through the Realm of Beasts. Their metallurgic might gives them an edge.

Whatever you pick, you’ll doubtless need terrain to fight in. In Warcry: Heart of Ghur you’ll get the Gnarlwood terrain set, which is skull-tastic in the extreme.

Look at these skulls. How many of them would be right at home on the skull throne? Of course you’ll also get the new Core Book and a tome for Rot and Ruin. Can’t have a new army without a book detailing the rules.

All of this available for pre-order next week!
