Cobra Kai Season 5 picks up right after the conclusion of the last. John Kreese is in jail and Terry Silver has taken over Cobra Kai karate. He’s planning on opening multiple dojos that will teach his style of ‘no mercy’ martial arts. A style that damages the kids he works with. Silver calls on old friends to grow his empire. Daniel and Chozen team up to take Silver down. Mike Barnes from Karate Kid Part III shows up, but the side he’s on is up in the air.

At the same time, Johnny and Robby go looking for Miguel in Mexico who has traveled there to find his biological father. And the kids get into rumbles outside of the tournament ring. It’s a fight from all sides.
