‘LotR: Rings of Power’ Trailer Shows the Beauty & Danger of Middle Earth
The latest Rings of Power trailer is flat-out gorgeous – revealing large cities, vast fields and woods, and battles with shining armor.
Based on what we’ve seen, a lot of this season is going to contain a lot of character introductions, world-building, and getting all of us caught up on the ancient history of Middle Earth. This is not the time of Bilbo and Frodo. The Second Age sees the founding of Númenor and The War of the Last Alliance. All while Sauron creates the Rings of Power and builds Barad-dûr. It is a time filled with bloodshed and change.
The new Rings of Power trailer reflects that. Middle Earth is a place filled with danger. It’s also filled with beauty and hope and courage.

The ensemble cast is huge and includes Peter Tait (who was in the original movie trilogy) and faces you would recognize from Doctor Who and Westworld. J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay are showrunners, and Howard Shore wrote the show’s theme.
