With only two episodes under its belt, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has teased one of the most anticipated MCU character reveals yet.

Trolls who gave Marvel’s new She-Hulk show a rating bomb are missing out on some first-class easter eggs in the show about Marvel’s Single Green Female. The show has revealed a lot about Jen, Bruce, and the overall direction of the MCU in just two episodes. She-Hulk‘s search for a job in this week’s episode has given fans a juicy new piece of Marvel’s future to chew on. Will this character make an appearance before the series premieres its finale?

There are spoilers for Marvel’s ‘She-Hulk’ series.

Guess Who’s Joining the MCU, Bub

That’s right, it’s Wolverine! According to a link hidden in the sidebar of a search page, a man was seen “fighting with metal claws in a bar brawl”. If that ain’t our boy Logan, I’ll eat a whole Adamantium claw. This summer, the MCU has made plenty of teases to Mutants joining its ranks. Thanks to Ms. Marvel, we know about mutations. And before that, Multiverse of Madness introduced us to an alternate-reality version of Professor X. In the last few weeks, we’ve heard some delicious rumors that Giancarlo Esposito is being considered for the MCU’s Charles Xavier. And now She-Hulk has dropped another golden nugget of Wolverine-reference.

The web page also contains an ad for the newest Iron Man sneaker, a QR code for another free She-Hulk comic book, and a reference to The Eternals in the form of an article explaining the “giant statue of a man” sticking out of the earth.

World War Hulk?

Remember that Sakaaran ship that Bruce and Jen crashed into that gave Jen her Hulk powers? Well, we’re all still speculating that the ship had something to do with a World War Hulk movie. On Sakaar, Hulk was a hero – and he definitely enjoyed a hero’s spoils. Including probably some sexy-time with the ladies. In the comics, Hulk has a son with a Sakaaran native. In 2008, Greg Pak and John Romita Jr. introduced comic book readers to the barbarian son of Hulk, Skaar. When he comes to Earth in the comic, it’s with a plan to kill his father as payment for abandoning him. It’s possible that Skaar will make an appearance in an upcoming Hulk story.

Also, Abomination is Funny

This episode also saw the official introduction of Emile Blonsky, the villain from The Incredible Hulk movie that came before the MCU. Played by the incomparable Tim Roth, the first Hulk movie really fumbled with this character. But fortunately, the MCU reintroduced Abomination in a fun-and-games fight scene between him and Wong, the current Sorcerer Supreme. This isn’t really an easter egg so much as a celebration of Tim Roth and Marvel finally letting this man wiggle his comedy toes in-universe.

I sincerely hope Marvel releases a little book of Emile’s heartfelt haikus. Bonus points if the audiobook is read by Edward Norton.

Thank you, Marvel, for letting Tim Roth be funny again. Namaste.

‘She-Hulk’ premieres new episodes every Thursday exclusively on Disney+.
